This annual event took place on 30th June 2008 at the Corinthia San Gorg Hotel. The Chairman, Mr Carm Cachia, read the Malta Section’s annual report. He said that this year the section managed to achieve a lot of things through extra efforts by the committee. These included:

The Chairman then mentioned that the Malta Section’s finances this year have been very healthy due to the surplus of income of the e-ID conference and the courses held. He encouraged the new committee to continue working harder for further recognition with the Malta Government and also to set up a fund for boosting the BCS image locally. The current committee will continue to stand and these include:
Networking was then carried out over coffee and croissants and followed by an interesting presentation by Mr Brian Azzopardi (GFI) about IPOD Slurping. There was a reasonably good attendance for the talk.
The AGM for the BCS Malta Section took place on the 27th August 2007 at the Intercontinental Hotel, St Julians, Malta. The Chairman read the annual report and highlighted some of the events which happened that year. This included:

After this a presentation was made by Carl E Weise about the Electronic Records Management. This talk was also open for non-members and was well attended. Following this coffee and biscuits were served and networking continued between all attendants.
